How can I find out my bib number?
The week of the event, you will receive an email with your bib number (check your inbox as spam).
If you have not received the email, you can access through our application or through your profile
If none of these options have worked for you, you should go to Athlete service once you’re at Expo Sports.
Where do I have to pick up my bib number?
The bibs are collected at Expo Sports, both on Thursday from 15h to 20h, Friday and Saturday, from 10h in the morning until 20h in the evening, prior to the event.
Can another person pick up my bib number?
Yes. This person must present the proof of your registration showing the bib number (the one that comes in the last email) and a photograph of the identification document (ID card, NIE or passport).
Can I change my starting box for an earlier one?
Yes. You only have to enter your registration, with your locator and your email and make the change.
Deadline: February 1, 2026.
*You will always be able to access a lower starting box than the one you chose. If you want to finally run in a faster box, you must contact the organization at the following address info@zurichmaratobarcelona.es to make the change.
Can I collect my race number on the day of the race?
No. No. The established hours are as follows: Thursday the 13th, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Will I get a t-shirt with my registration?
Yes. After picking up the race bib at the place indicated by the organization, the T-shirt will be picked up in strict order of arrival, until the size is available. The organization cannot guarantee the size due to the fact that the order and manufacture of t-shirts is made prior to the closing of registrations.
Failure to collect the bib number and the runner’s bag in the established terms means the waiver of the same.
What chip timing system is used in the race?
The organization will provide a single-use chip to each participant that will be placed in the participant’s shoe and must be returned at the end of the race (it is not possible to participate with the yellow chip).
If you are going to pick up your race bib, but you are not going to participate in the race, remember to leave your chip in the designated areas.
If for any reason you cannot return it on the day of the race, you can send it by mail to: RPM Racing, Av. Diagonal 477, 9th floor, 08036 Barcelona.
Failure to return the chip will result in a penalty of 5€.
Can I run with headphones/earphones?
Will there be pacers to guide me during the race?
Yes. You will find a team of 35 hares to help you achieve your goal. You will find them in the starting boxes corresponding to their mark and they will carry with them identifying flags with the time in which they will run the race.
They will run the course at 7 different paces: 2:45h, 3:00h, 3:15h, 3:30h, 3:45h, 4:00h and 4:30h.
Does the Zurich Marató Barcelona have an APP to follow the race live?
Can I transfer my registration to a friend or family member?
The participant who wishes to do so may make a change of name or bib/chip holder through our registration platform in the Manage your registration section.
If you are not going to run, you can transfer your bib and place in the race to another runner. The new runner will have to comply with all the provisions of these rules, and by accepting the bib, he/she will be accepting the contents of the same in its entirety. You must go to Manage your registration, Change of Holder, and indicate the data of the person to whom you are transferring your registration. The new participant will send you an e-mail with the instructions to register. Once he/she has completed/paid his/her registration, you will receive a refund of the price paid for your registration minus 20€. Your refund will be approved if the new runner executes his/her registration.
As of February 16, there will be no holder changes.
The Organization reserves the right to make modifications in the methodology of the change.
Any attempt of transfer or direct sale between participants without following the established process may result in the invalidation of the original holder’s participation, and the organization reserves the right to exclude him/her from future editions of the event.
Unauthorized bib transfer
For legal and sporting reasons, but above all for security reasons, the bib may not be transferred to another runner without following the process provided for this purpose and without obtaining the approval of the Organization. In the event that the Organization becomes aware of this circumstance prior to the race, the bib will be disqualified and the runner will not be able to participate in the race.
Will I get a medal for my participation in the race?
Yes, once you cross the final refreshment point at the finish line, you will receive a FINISHER medal of the Zurich Marató Barcelona.
Where should I engrave my medal?
You will be able to engrave your medal at the end of the race, near the finish line.

Will I receive a diploma for participating in the race?
Yes, you will be able to download the finisher’s diploma directly from the website once it is available.
