ECOTIC Envases Becomes the Official Sponsor of the Zurich Barcelona Marathon 2025, Promoting Recycling and Sustainability at the Event

ECOTIC Envases, a Collective System for Extended Producer Responsibility (SCRAP) focused on the management of packaging and its waste, has become the official sponsor of the Zurich Barcelona Marathon 2025, which will take place on March 16. As part of this agreement, ECOTIC Envases will set up 12 strategically distributed refreshment stations along the route, including the start and finish areas.

Each of these stations will feature a clearly identified recycling zone branded with the ECOTIC Envases logo, making it easier for participants and spectators to properly dispose of waste while promoting sustainable practices during the event. Additionally, specific messages will be displayed encouraging runners and attendees to properly separate waste and actively contribute to environmental care.

This initiative aims to reinforce the Zurich Barcelona Marathon’s commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment, while also increasing ECOTIC Envases’ visibility among attendees and through the extensive media coverage that accompanies the race.
